1. Terms of Use

• Use of the Service is subject to the terms detailed below and to any applicable law.
• Each user declares that they have read, understood, and agreed to all of these terms.
• The Service operators may update these terms at any time. It is the user's responsibility to review the terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated version.

2. About the Service

The Service provides information about restaurants in Israel and worldwide.

The information on the Service includes, among other things:

• Restaurant name
• Restaurant address
• Opening hours
• Type of cuisine
• Location on map
• Phone number
• Link to the restaurant's website
• User ratings, reviews, and comments
• Kashrut certification details (where available)

3. Registration

• Use of some features requires registration and a user account.
• Registration is permitted to users aged 16 and above. Users under this age may register only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• The user undertakes to provide true, complete, and accurate details upon registration, and to update them upon any change.
• The user is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials (password, login details). Any action performed via the user's account will be deemed to have been performed by the user.
• Impersonating another person or entity is prohibited, as is providing false contact details or those of another person without their consent.
• Registration is also possible via a Google account. Such registration is also subject to all the terms of use detailed in this document, in addition to Google's own policies.
• The Service operators reserve the right to refuse registration, or to suspend or block an account at any time and for any reason, at their sole discretion, including in the event of a breach of these terms.

4. User Content, Reviews, and Ratings

• The user may upload to the Service content in the form of reviews, ratings, comments, and images ("User Content").
• The user undertakes that User Content uploaded will be truthful, based on personal experience, and will not contain false or misleading information.
• It is prohibited to upload content containing defamation, invasion of privacy, incitement, racism, hate speech, threats, spam, commercial advertising, or any unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
• It is prohibited to upload content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Coordinated reviews, reviews by competitors, or fake reviews intended to harm or unfairly promote a restaurant are prohibited.
• By uploading User Content, the user grants the Service owners an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, publish, edit, and display the content in any medium, as part of the "Kosher Basviva" service.
• Service operators may, at their sole discretion, remove, edit, or refuse to publish any User Content, without prior notice and without justification.

5. Paid Advertising

• Restaurant owners may pay to promote their restaurant in search results.
• Paid advertising allows the restaurant to appear at the top of search results and will be marked accordingly as required by law.
• Restaurant owners interested in paid advertising may contact customer support using the details at the end of this document.
• Beyond paid advertising, the Service also displays sponsored content from external sources (for example, Google AdSense). The Service is not responsible for the content of external advertisements.

7. Privacy

• During use of the Service, certain information is collected, including: IP address, geographic location, browser and device type, actions performed on the Service, and any additional information provided by the user (name, email, phone, favorite restaurants, etc.).
• The Service uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for operating the Service, improving user experience, analytics, and advertising.
• The Service uses third-party tools, including Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which may collect information about your use according to their own policies.
• The information is stored in a secure database and will not be transferred to third parties, except for the purpose of operating the Service or as required by law or court order.
• The user has the right to review information about themselves, to request its correction or deletion, in accordance with the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, by contacting customer support.
• The Service serves as a free information platform, and the Service operators bear no responsibility for the content of the Service or for errors in the information displayed.

8. Copyright and Intellectual Property

• All rights to the Service and to the content on it (including design, logo, texts, images, code, and any other work) are reserved to its owners.
• It is prohibited to copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, translate, or modify the content, in whole or in part, without prior written consent from the Service owners.
• The trademarks, names, and logos of the kashrut certification bodies appearing on the Service are the property of their respective owners and appear for identification purposes only.

9. Changes to the Service and to the Terms

• Service owners may change the terms at any time, at their sole discretion. Changes will take effect upon their publication on this page.
• Service owners may change, add, remove, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice.

10. Notes for Restaurant Owners

• Restaurant owners who wish to advertise via paid promotion on the Service must agree to all of the terms of use detailed above.
• The restaurant owner is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided regarding their restaurant, including kashrut details, opening hours, and services.
• Paid advertising on the Service is an effective way to increase restaurant exposure and the number of customers.

11. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

• These terms of use, and any dispute arising from them or from use of the Service, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel only.
• Exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute shall be vested in the competent courts in the Jerusalem district only.

12. Accessibility

The Service works to make its content accessible to all users in accordance with the equal rights of persons with disabilities regulations. For more details, please refer to the Accessibility Statement.
